Coromandel Peninsula:
The Coromandel, New Zealanders favourite destination, is at an hours drive from the

Fabulous golden and pristine beaches with magnificent coastal scenery, a rugged, forest cloaked interior waiting to become explored are just some of the natural attractions which have people returning to The Coromandel again and again.

Great Barrier Island:
Great Barrier Island may be the guardian of the gulf. Since it's name suggests, it shields the interior islands. Its eastern side requires a pounding from the Pacific, creating almost unmatched breaks around the surf beaches of Awana and Medlands. The western coast is much more tranquil, with deep water harbours that offer a safe anchorage for yachts. Only Half an hour from Auckland by air, Great Barrier because the kind of rugged, untouched beauty that attracts adventurers and that is getting progressively difficult to find on our planet.

Waiheke Island:
Waiheke Island is simply a 35 minutes ferry ride from downtown Auckland and it is situated in the beautiful Hauraki Gulf. It's the second largest of the Hauraki Gulf Islands, probably the most populated and the most accessible with regular ferry and air services, leaving downtown Auckland nearly every hour. Many people are even lucky enough to live there permanently.
